A sweet and quirky film that explores love, trauma, kindness, and the fuzzy lines between delusion and reality. Filmed plainly and without Hollywood glitz, this is a wonderful film.
A Danish film in which a lone, idealistic orphanage director from India pursues a financial gift from a wealthy Danish businessman only to find that there are strings from old relationships attached.
A classic western with a subtle political and social agenda. The cast includes such notables as John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, and Angie Dickinson (not to mention a superb performance by Walter Brennan).
Even non-Trekkies will find something thought-provoking in this film which purports to begin the Star Trek saga. Questions of humanity and purpose are never far away.
